Billy Talent Get Freaky With Human Sock Puppets Video

What do you do when you want to make a video that's simultaneously deep, creepy and kinda neat at once? You dress people up in wool sock puppet outfits and film some kind of drama at Toronto's Pioneer Village.

That's exactly what Billy Talent did for the clip for Billy Talent III's "Saint Veronika," which features a daughter running away from her unhappy family of dysfunctional sock puppets. Meanwhile, the band are surrounded by a factory of other sock puppets using pioneer spinning wheels. There's some unravelling at the end. It's probably a metaphor.

Of course, there's no word on whether Billy Talent will dress up in gigantic sock puppet outfits on their upcoming tour with Alexisonfire, Against Me! and Cancer Bats, but if they want to show everyone why they're headlining the bill, they should probably set themselves apart somehow, right? Uh...
