Black Lips To Play Sled Island 2010

CALGARY – Sled Island 2010 is returning to Calgary this summer, and the first two bands playing the festival have been leaked.

Festival organizers are methodically leaking bands through the festival's somewhat up-to-date website.

Chain And The Gang will hit the stage, presumably performing songs off their upcoming Down with Liberty… Up with Chains! album. It should be a great show considering the live buzz the band received for last year's Pop Montreal performance.

Internet gossip has it that Atlanta's Black Lips will also play the festival, which would be a RIOT.

The full lineup for the festival — which runs June 30 to July 3 — will be announced May 1. Keep checking the festival site periodically for more acts to be leaked.

In other Sled Island news, the festival is admitting to "shamelessly ripping off the KISS Army" with their new membership club.
