The Darcys Offer Free Single Download

Toronto indie band The Darcys are offering a free download of lead single "House Built Around Your Voice" from their upcoming Young Believers album.

The LP is their first full-length disc since 2007's Endless Water. The Darcys' last release was a cover of the Final Fantasy's (now Owen Pallett) "The CN Tower Belongs To The Dead."

The band spent some time recording Young Believers at Montreal's Mountain City Studio with The Dears' Murray Lightburn producing. The album currently has no definite release date, but features guest appearances by members of Broken Social Scene, Stars and Islands.

The Darcys also made two acoustic videos with Southern Souls, where artists from southern Ontario perform in unusual venues. If you're wondering what "House Built Around Your Voice" sounds like performed in an empty music shop, watch the video here.
