Finger Eleven Are Recording

Finger Eleven
Finger Eleven are in the studio working on the follow-up to 2007's Them Vs. You Vs. Me.

The Burlington, Ont. alt.rock band began recording the as-yet-untitled new album earlier this month in New York City. They spent last week concentrating on Rich Beddoe's drums and Scott Anderson's vocals, while the week before they were working on Sean Anderson's bass parts for the disc.

"I forgot how much I lack the patience for studio life," an unknown member of the band tweeted last Tuesday (Jan. 19). "We're still setting up mics & my fingers are itchin' to play and record.Tomorrow."

Finger Eleven have since finished that session and returned home to Canada. Perhaps there was a good reason they were so itching to record:

"Been lost in music," a post on the band's Twitter read on Saturday (Jan. 23). "I'm watching Scott sing on the last of the ideas for this session. We've written our best songs this week.Home tomorrow."
