Dinosaur Jr. Playing Free Show At Toronto Record Store

You could see one of the most influential alternative bands in a very intimate setting. And all you have to do is give up a can of food or any other non-perishable food item.
Dinosaur Jr. will play an in-store show at Toronto's Sonic Boom on Thursday (Jan. 21) at 6:30 p.m. A non-perishable food item will gain you entry into the gig. Sounds like a pretty sweet deal to us.
The band will also be playing a sold-out show at the Phoenix Concert Theatre that same night. Frontman Lou Barlow will play acoustic tunes from his Goodnight Unknown solo disc before Dinosaur Jr.'s set.
Dinosaur Jr. released their ninth album, Farm, in June 2009.
