The Smashing Pumpkins have released the second song from their Teargarden By Kaleidyscope album, and it's available to download for free through their website.
"Widow Wake My Mind" follows "A Song For A Son," which was released in December. Don't get your hopes up — Jessica Simpson's not on it.
Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan plans to release Teargarden By Kaleidyscope one track at a time, putting out a new song every few weeks. After every four songs hit the 'net, he'll release four-song EPs. All 11 of those EPs will eventually come out as a complete 44-song box set later this year.
Oh, and as far as the whole alleged Simpson-Corgan romance goes...
Fox News reports the two are "making music, not whoopee," and although they spent a good month doing some "heavy flirting and songwriting, things have cooled off" between them.
"Jessica loved spending so much time in and out of the studio with Billy," a source told Fox News. "She's in awe of his musical prowess, and it adds to her feelings for him, but they are not dating."
Last month, it was reported the two had a budding romance going on, but it was recently revealed they'd split up, citing "religious differences." Pictures of Simpson and Corgan hanging out in a studio together surfaced last week.
