Glastonbury Festival organizer Emily Eavis says Vampire Weekend will play this year's installment of the festival, which takes place in June.
"YES, FRIDAY 25th?" Eavis wrote on her Twitter in response to a question about whether the Brooklyn, N.Y. quartet would play.
"...They have already been booked I promise!" she said in response to another user's tweet.
The indie rockers, who just released their Contra sophomore album, will obviously not be headlining the festival on Friday, since U2 are doing that.
Muse are rumoured to play this year's Glastonbury Festival as well. The full lineup will be announced soon.
The 2010 Glastonbury Festival will take place June 23 to 27 at Pilton, England's Worthy Farm. Of course, it's already sold out.
