Nick Jonas Bringing Springsteen-Inspired Side-Project To Toronto?

Nick Jonas
The Jonas Brothers are currently off the road — with Kevin Jonas exchanging his purity ring for a wedding ring — but Nick Jonas has his side project on the go. It appears they're heading to Canada for a lone date.

Although nothing has been announced or confirmed by promoters, Nick Jonas And The Administration inadvertently spilled the beans at the merchandise table during their initial tour stops over the weekend.

A fan photo on JonasBrothersCanada.com reveals that "Toronto" is one of the cities listed on the back of a tour T-shirt. It's the lone Canadian city mentioned on a jaunt that includes Philadelphia, Boston, Detroit, Chicago, St. Louis, Mo., Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Denver, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Speculation also has the date for the Toronto gig set for Feb. 3, but that's not for sure, either. Dates for all the American cities mentioned are on the band's MySpace page, including a four-night stand at The Wiltern in Los Angeles Jan. 26 to 29.

Nick Jonas And The Administration's Who I Am debut is out Feb. 2. Jonas played in Dallas over the weekend and the set featured a cover of Kings Of Leon's "Use Somebody" and a snippet of Stevie Wonder's "Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours" combined with songs off the upcoming effort.

Jonas, 17, says he was inspired by Bruce Springsteen while making the record and is using the E Street Band as a blueprint for his own group.

Hopefully, that inspiration came from The River or The Rising and not Working On A Dream.
