Danko Jones On Broken Teeth Album

Danko Jones will appear on Viva La Rock, Fantastico!, the upcoming new album from Austin, Texas' Broken Teeth that's due out Jan. 26 on Perris Records.

The band wrote the songs while they were touring in 2008 and 2009.

"Inspiration is at its finest when it's covered in grease, sweat and blood," singer/guitarist Jason McMaster told Blabbermouth.net.

Jones appears on the title track and "Big Spender." You can hear the title track on Broken Teeth's MySpace page.

Broken Teeth first became familiar with Jones after a Scottish Broken Teeth fan gave McMaster one of Jones' albums.

"I shit myself!" McMaster told Blabbermouth. "I knew there was real rock and roll out there somewhere and I had finally found it.

"A few years later, Danko was coming through Austin with Turbonegro. I went to the show, introduced myself, gave Danko some CDs and stayed in touch. A few years later, he's singing on my music."

McMaster formed Broken Teeth in 1999. The band includes former members of Dangerous Toys, Dirty Looks and Pariah.
