Hole Making Live Return Next Month

Courtney Love will officially resurrect Hole on Feb. 17, when the newly reunited band play their first gig in nearly 11 years at London, England's O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire.
The date was announced Tuesday (Jan. 5) on Hole's Facebook page.
Love was to release Nobody's Daughter, the new Hole album (which was originally supposed to be her sophomore solo album) on Jan. 1. Of course, it's not out yet, but a website has been set up for the disc and it features some audio. That means there's a good chance the Hole gig could feature material from the album.
According to Prefixmag, the reunited Hole will feature Love on vocals and guitar, Shawn Dailey on bass, Micko Larkin on guitar and Stu Fischer on drums. That means neither former bassist Melissa Auf Der Maur or guitarist Eric Erlandson will be involved in the reunion.
Auf Der Maur, of course, has her own plans for 2010. She'll release her Out Of Our Minds sophomore album this year.
That Love is going ahead with the use of the Hole moniker is interesting considering Erlandson said last year she didn't have the rights to use it. Love disagreed and said no such deal had been made.
It's still not known whether Love owns the Hole name.
