LIGHTS Fans Vote Their Little Hearts Out In 15th Annual Year End Readers' Poll

Looks like LIGHTS' fans finally tore themselves away from their game of Dungeons And Dragons — or at least managed to pause their Warcraft for a few minutes.

LIGHTS racked up hundreds of thousands of votes in our 15th Annual Year End Readers' Poll while we were on holiday.

LIGHTS' "Saviour" now leads for best song, while her clip for "Ice" now has the most votes in the best video category. She's also garnered over 200,000 votes in the sexiest Canadian woman category, which puts her in second place behind Avril Lavigne, who's got more than a whopping 500,000 votes now.

We were beginning to wonder where the Simple Plan fans were, seeing how they completely ruled our 2008 Year End Readers' Poll. It looks like they finally woke up and realized guitarist Sebastien Lefebvre's been nominated for best Canadian album. Lefebvre now leads in that category, having picked up over 68,000 votes over the holiday break.

Simple Plan singer Pierre Bouvier is also now in third place for sexiest Canadian man. He got over 3,000 votes over the last week and a bit. Sum 41's Deryck Whibley still leads that category, with The Cliks' Lucas Silveira just over 1,000 votes behind.

Lavigne continues to lead in the best haircut category, while most of you still think "swine flu hysteria" is stupid. Lots of you also think YouTube is incredibly awesome, while a good chunk of you are also bummed Lavigne and Whibley broke up last year. Franz Ferdinand still have the lead for best international album.
