Amy Winehouse Charged With Assault... Again

Amy Winehouse has been arrested and charged with assault for the second time this year.
Winehouse turned herself in to police on Wednesday (Dec. 23) and was charged with common assault and a public order offense under her married name, Amy Civil, according to the Associated Press.
That surname's kind of ironic here, no?
The charges stem from an alleged incident that happened Saturday (Dec. 19) during a performance of Cinderella at the Milton Keynes Theatre in Milton Keynes, England that featured performances from Mickey Rooney and others.
Winehouse began yelling "He's fucking behind you!" at a pantomime during the performance, according to Britain's The Sun and called the stepsisters "bitches" during the show.
Britain's Times newspaper reports police investigated the incident after front-of-house manager Richard Pound complained that Winehouse punched and kicked him and also pulled his hair when he asked her to move seats.
Winehouse is free on bail for now, but must appear in court on Jan. 20.
Winehouse was charged with assault back in March after dancer Sharene Flash accused Winehouse of hitting her in the face at a September 2008 concert after Flash asked Winehouse to take a picture with her. Winehouse was acquitted in that case.
In other not-so-great news, Winehouse and her ex-husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, are reportedly an item again. The two divorced in July and Fielder-Civil has been in rehab and prison for his drug addiction problems this year.
Georgette Civil, Fielder-Civil's mother, told The Sun on Dec. 15 that her son plans to remarry Winehouse after he leaves rehab.
"I thought a divorce was the best thing for both of them at the time, as they were a destructive influence on each other," she said.
"But I was sad Blake had lost the love of his life. I speak to Amy on the phone. She said to me recently, 'You have an amazing son who is gorgeous and beautiful and sensitive. But other people don't see it.'
"I'm convinced Blake and Amy will remarry early next year. I don't know when, where or how it will happen.
"I'd like to be at the wedding this time round but I wouldn't be surprised if they went away and got hitched without anyone knowing about it.
"Whatever they do, I think it's going to be a happy ending this time."
Winehouse and Fielder-Civil were photographed together earlier this month outside Fielder-Civil's apartment in Sheffield, England.
Unsurprisingly, Mitch Winehouse, Winehouse's father, is not pleased at the reports the two have reunited. He actually says the whole thing is a lie Fielder-Civil made up to get some money from the British tabloids.
"Don't believe all that you read!" Mitch Winehouse wrote on his Twitter. "I am not going to comment on Amy's trip to see Blake, except to say this guy who purports to love Amy, the next day, sold an exclusive to The Sun.
"He has a funny way of showing his love. Nice earner though - 5k at least. It sits behind other betrayals; selling Amy's letters to the papers, videoing her when he said the camera was off etc. So why give this liar, violent criminal and betrayer the time of day?"
