Avril Lavigne Apparently Sexy, Has Great Haircut

It looks like the Avril Lavigne fans have discovered our 15th Annual Year End Readers' Poll.

Lavigne's faithful disciples have spammed the hell out of the sexiest Canadian woman category over the last 24 hours and she's now about 1,000 votes ahead of Tegan And Sara. That's probably very much to the chagrin of the insane "spirited" Tegan And Sara fan who's started posting "vote for Tegan And Sara" graphics in our comments section on that page.

Lavigne's also had a spike of voting in the best haircut category (no, really), but the Quin twins still lead by over 2,000 votes.

There's a pretty big battle that's emerged between Tegan And Sara and Sloan for best Canadian album. Tegan And Sara had a sizable lead for a few days, but Sloan have made a comeback. They regained first place Friday (Dec. 18) morning, but Tegan And Sara have since taken it back and are ahead by about 300 votes.

Tegan And Sara are also still ahead for best video and song.

As for the sexiest Canadian man category The Cliks' Lucas Silveira is still way ahead of anyone else. He's got over 1,000 votes now.

We're impressed with the amount of votes you guys have racked up in the above categories, but we're less than enthused with the lack of voting going on in the best international album, stupidest trend and best and worst things in music this year categories.

There's tons of awesome and stinky things in those sections of the poll, so let's not be lazy and get to voting. Let's vote the hell out of gourmet poutine or something.
