Weezer Cancel January Dates

Weezer have cancelled their upcoming Raditude dates that were to take place in January because a doctor has ordered frontman Rivers Cuomo to stay off the road to recover from the bus crash he was in earlier this month.
Cuomo was injured Dec. 6 when Weezer's tour bus skidded across several lanes of highway in New York state, jumped a guardrail and ended up in a ditch. He suffered a cut to his spleen, a punctured lung and three cracked ribs in the crash. He was released from hospital on Dec. 11.
Weezer's next scheduled gig is at the Bamboozle festival in New Jersey in May.
Weezer posted a video blog to their website on Thursday (Dec. 17) which shows Cuomo, who travelled from New York to Los Angeles on yet another bus earlier this week, walking around a truck stop on the way home. He also tests out a breathing apparatus, which he's using to help regain his lung power.
Here's the video:
Here are Weezer's recently cancelled dates:
Jan. 9 San Francisco, CA @ Bill Graham Civic Auditorium
Jan. 11 Irvine, CA @ University Of California-Irvine Bren Events Center
Jan. 13 La Jolla, CA @ RIMAC Arena
Jan. 15 Phoenix, AZ @ Dodge Theatre
