Jimi Hendrix Ottawa Show Being Reissued

The live recording of a show that Jimi Hendrix played in Ottawa in 1968 will be reissued on Jan. 25 as a part of a package that will also include a show Hendrix played in Paris, France.
The limited-edition set, which is out now in North America but will be released in the U.K. in January, will be available on CD and vinyl.
It includes one disc of a show Hendrix played at Ottawa's Capitol Theatre on March 19, 1968. It will also come with recordings of a show Hendrix played at Paris L'Olympia Theatre on Jan. 29, 1968 and an unreleased show he played on Oct. 9, 1967 at the same venue.
The package will also include a T-shirt, postcard set, badges, a poster and an iPod skin, according to NME.com.
This isn't the first time the Ottawa show has been released. It hit stores in 2001 as the Live In Ottawa live disc. The 1968 Paris show was previously released on the 1991 Stages box set.
