Miley Cyrus' loss is Karen O's gain.

Cyrus' "The Climb" — featured in Hannah Montana: The Movie — has been disqualified from the Grammys, where it was nominated for best song written for a soundtrack. The beneficiary is Karen O's "All Is Love," recorded for the Where The Wild Things Are soundtrack.

"In an unexpected twist, one of the announced Grammy candidates for best song written for a soundtrack has been disqualified after the fact," an email Interscope/Geffen spokesperson Matt LaMotte reads, which can be seen on Where The Wild Things Are director Spike Jonze's blog.

"The nomination then goes to the song with the next-highest initial vote count, which is Karen O And The Kids' 'All Is Love.'

"Great news all around — it will be included in all ballots going soon to Grammy voters."

Cyrus was disqualified from Grammy voting after it was discovered that "The Climb" was written by songwriter Jessi Alexander, who had shopped the song around to several country artists, according to MTV News.

Karen O., however, wrote most of the Where The Wild Things Are soundtrack with help from her Yeah Yeah Yeahs bandmates, Yeah Yeah Yeahs touring guitarist Imaad Wasif, Liars' Aaron Hemphill, Deerhunter's Bradford Cox, Jack Lawrence of The Raconteurs and The Dead Weather's Dean Fertita.

"All Is Love" now faces stiff competition at the Grammys, competing against Paramore's "Decode" (from Twilight), Bruce Springsteen's "The Wrester" (from The Wrestler), Beyonce's "Once In A Lifetime" (from Cadillac Records) and A.R. Rahman's "Jai Ho" (from Slumdog Millionaire).

It's the second Grammy nod for Karen O. The Yeah Yeah Yeahs 2009 album, It's Blitz!, was also nominated for best alternative album.
