White Stripes Box Set Of 2007 Canadian Tour Coming

In 2007, The White Stripes toured Canada, playing at least one show in every province and territory in the country. That tour was documented in audio, and Under Great White Northern Lights, a limited-edition box set culled from those shows, will be released on March 16.

The box set comes with a DVD of the Under Great White Northern Lights documentary about the tour; a 16-track live album recorded during the jaunt on 180-gram vinyl and CD; a live seven-inch single featuring "Icky Thump" and "The Wheels On The Bus"; a 208-page book of Autumn De Wilde's photos from the tour; and a silk screen print.

If you aren't keen on buying the box set, you can purchase the DVD, live album and book separately. The DVD and album will come out the same day as the box set, while the book will be available on its own in April.

The Under Great White Northern Lights box set will be available to pre-order through The White Stripes' website on Friday (Dec. 11). If you buy the set before New Year's Day, you'll get three live MP3s and a holiday card.
