Early emo-rock band Something Corporate — who haven't been heard from in years — announced late last week they'll reunite for a special one-off show as part of the 2010 Bamboozle Left festival in California.
"Something Corporate... Is Coming Back," states a video clip on the band's MySpace page. "It's been 10 years since Something Corporate put out its first demos, and for the first time since 2005, you can see the band perform live!"
The concert will take place in Anaheim on March 28, but it's unknown if the lone gig will lead to other shows or possibly new material. Something Corporate's members began hinting at a reunion last year.
Something Corporate went on hiatus in 2005 but briefly reunited the following year to perform a short set during a gig by Jack's Mannequin gig, Something Corporate singer Andrew McMahon's new band. The group — perhaps best known for the songs "If You C Jordan" and "Punk Rock Princess" — released their last studio album North in 2003 and the Live At The Ventura Theater DVD in 2004.
Aside from McMahon, guitarist Josh Partington also had a side-project called Firescape. Their Dancehall Apocalypse album came out in 2007.
