Underoath
They say things — particularly bad things — come in threes. That's certainly true here, since Underoath's van accident on Tuesday (Dec. 8) now brings this week's "bands in vehicular accidents" tally up to three.

Underoath were traveling to a show in Omaha, Neb. that was to take place on Tuesday when their van was involved in an accident. As a result, they've had to cancel their show slated to take place Tuesday in the city.

The driver has some minor injuries, but is stable, according to a post the band made on their MySpace blog on Tuesday.

"He's in pain but he survived which is honestly a miracle if you would have seen the van," the band wrote.

"If there is any way we could make the show work, we would but it's not possible. Our sincerest apologies to all who are braving the weather to get to the show. Please drive safely back home. There have been way too many accidents lately."

That's an understatement.

In case you're unaware, Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo was left with three cracked ribs, a cut spleen and a punctured lung after the bus he was on skidded into a ditch and crashed on Sunday (Dec. 6) morning in New York.

Also, Buffalo, N.Y. hardcore band Every Time I Die were involved in a bus accident on Monday (Dec. 7) on their way to a show in Wiesbaden, Germany.

Three days, three separate band bus crashes. It's time for this to stop.
