All-American Rejects Appearing On One Life To Live

The recession is still alive and kicking, and it's severely inhibiting a band's ability to get television face-time with their teen fans.
With The O.C. having been cancelled (they featured bands like Modest Mouse, Rooney and Death Cab For Cutie), there are only so many places pseudo-indie/secretly populist bands can go to put their faces on TV.
In the last year alone, Gossip Girl has featured appearances from Lady Gaga, No Doubt and Sonic Youth.
Last year, Tokyo Police Club picked up where The O.C. left off when they were on Desperate Housewives.
But with Gossip Girl and 90210 all filled up for the season, The All-American Rejects have landed themselves on the much less glamourous One Life To Live.
Their appearance will air Friday (Dec. 4) and Monday (Dec. 7) on ABC. The band will portray themselves, booked at a fictional club called Ultraviolet. They will perform songs off their latest album, including the single "I Wanna."
