Molina And Johnson Cancel U.S. Tour

Things have not been so hot for Magnolia Electric Co.'s Jason Molina over the past few weeks.

Molina was riding the high after releasing a successful collaboration project with Centro-Matic frontman Will Johnson, appropriately titled Molina And Johnson. The two were slated to extensively tour Europe and North America in support of the disc.

The duo cancelled their European dates late last month because of Molina's "health problems."

"Jason Molina is extremely disappointed but there is no way he can be on the road at the present time," the band said in a statement on their website on Nov. 18.

But they ensured fans the North American dates would continue in January.

But now Molina And Johnson have also canned the North American leg of their tour because Molina's health problems are still an issue.

No further information was given beyond this ambiguous quote from Molina: "It is funny that the road isn't what nearly killed me, it was not being on the road."
