Of Montreal Want To Work With Beyonce

The Elephant 6 collective sure know how to grab headlines.
First, Thee American Revolution announced that they resuscitated the label. Next, former Elephant 6 members Of Montreal have voiced their willingness to collaborate with... Beyonce?
The former Destiny's Child member, who recently attended a Grizzly Bear show in Brooklyn, N.Y., announced her intention to diversify her collaborative efforts and name-dropped the band in a recent interview.
"There's so many people I'd like to work with still, but I'd like to maybe go outside of the box," she told The Guardian. "My sister [Solange Knowles] has put me on to bands like Of Montreal and some other different types of artists. I would love to do something like that on my next album."
Solange Knowles, Beyonce's kid sister, is no stranger to the indie charts. She recently dance-ified a cover of The Dirty Projectors' "Stillness Is The Move."
Somewhere along the line, she must have passed her older sis a few mixtapes.
Of Montreal singer Kevin Barnes has since responded to Beyonce, saying he is more than happy to oblige.
"I wasn't that familiar with her Destiny's Child stuff, until Solange played me some of the deep cuts. I was truly blown away by the vocal arrangements/performances," he told Paste magazine. "She is so much more than a pop star. There is a reason why she's the most popular and beloved female vocalist of our time. I would be fully psyched to work with her."
