True to the title of his 1994 book, Get In The Van, Henry Rollins is hitting the road again.
But don't expect to see him with any members of Black Flag or the Rollins Band. Instead, he'll embark on a solo spoken word world tour this spring, hitting Europe, the U.S. and Canada.
Rollins will make stops in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Quebec and southern Ontario on the journey throughout March.
The stern hardcore icon's spoken word isn't to be missed. Much like his bands, Rollins by his lonesome is explosive, confrontational and, yes, quite insightful.
If his written work is any indication, expect to be regaled with tales of Black Sabbath encounters, the early days of California hardcore and his experiences growing up with straight edge pioneer and Minor Threat/Fugazi founder Ian MacKaye.
Rollins has authored more than 10 books and is firmly entrenched in hardcore's literati. Other hardcore personalities who have written books and performed spoken word include MacKaye and Cro-Mags frontman John Joseph.
