Thee Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra will release their sixth studio album,
Kollaps Tradixionales, on Feb. 16 in North America and Feb. 8 in Europe through Constellation.
The Montreal post-rockers have dropped the "Tra-La-La Band" from their moniker, and that's not the only thing they've jettisoned this time. Three of Thee Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra's members left the fold, which means Efrim Menuck is now their only guitarist.
Double 10-inch vinyl versions of
Kollaps Tradixionales will be available and will also come with a copy of the CD, a 16-page book of collages and a limited-edition poster.
13 Blues For Thirteen Moons, Thee Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra's 2008 album (released under the Thee Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra & Tra-La-La Band moniker) was
long listed for the 2008 Polaris Music Prize.
Here are the songs on
Kollaps Tradixionales:
"There Is A Light"
"I Built Myself A Metal Bird"
"I Fed My Metal Bird The Wings Of Other Metal Birds"
"Kollapz Tradixional (Thee Olde Dirty Flag)"
"Collapse Traditional (For Darling)"
"Kollaps Tradicional (Bury 3 Dynamos)"
