Disregard any rumours you've heard about Daft Punk touring in 2010. They won't be heading out on the road.
A representative for the band says Daft Punk have no tour dates planned.
"The recent rumors of a Daft Punk tour are false," the rep says in a statement. "We would like to ensure that no fans are taken advantage of by fictitious rumors of upcoming shows."
On Monday (Nov. 23), it was reported a Daft Punk tour itinerary had "leaked" onto the Internet, showing dates slated for arenas in Europe, the United States and Australia from July to September. You should consider those dates about as real as Santa Claus. Not the one sitting at the mall, kids.
Daft Punk's last release was 2007's Alive 2007, which was recorded during Guy-Manuel De Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter's performance at Paris, France's Le Bercy in June of that year. Daft Punk's last studio release was 2005's Human After All.
