50 Cent Not Getting His Own Condoms After All

50 Cent's recent attempt to make his own brand of condoms has deflated.

50 Cent was working on his own set of condoms, which he says he wanted custom-made to improve men's sexual performance. He was working with the Wrap It Up campaign.

"I was looking for the opportunity to create a new safe sex campaign," Fiddy told the San Francisco Chronicle. "The Wrap It Up campaign is something that is used so often, it wasn't effective anymore. So I thought this is a great opportunity for me to get involved."

50 Cent wanted the condoms to come with added chemicals which would "prolong" the user's sexual performance, but scientists told him creating such a condom was impossible.

Perhaps taking Viagra would be an alternative?

This isn't the first time Fiddy's tried something like this. In 2005, the rapper told GQ magazine he wanted to make a waterproof vibrator (so women could use it in the bathtub).

"Blue is my favourite colour, so it would probably be blue," he told the magazine at the time. "But I don't know how big. I don't know if big is better because I'm not sure a man wants his woman playing with a really big dildo."

50 Cent's long-awaited Before I Self Destruct is out now.
