The yuletide season has a knack for bringing out the worst bloated celeb-musician collaborations.
But cynicism and white guilt aside, slick crooner Bryan Ferry has actually announced a collaborative effort with musicians who aren't casino circuit veterans. Rollingstone.com reports he's working with Radiohead guitarist Johnny Greenwood and Flea, the Red Hot Chili Peppers' slap-happy bassist.
Little is known about the album so far, other than a video Ferry posted on his official website. It doesn't yet have a title or release date.
This isn't the first time Ferry and Greenwood have worked together. Greenwood was featured on "Hiroshima," a track that was included on Ferry's 2002 Frantic studio album.
Ferry will make a guest appearance of his own next year when Groove Armada release Black Light, their first album in three years, in February. It's not known what track he'll appear on, but Groove Armada have said they listened to Roxy Music's "Love Is The Drug" on repeat.
