Joel Plaskett's
Three garnered two Canadian Folk Music Awards during a ceremony held Saturday (Nov. 21) evening in Ottawa.
Plaskett was named producer of the year for the
Polaris Music Prize short listed triple album, which also picked up the contemporary album of the year award. Plaskett was the only multiple winner at this year's awards.
Saskatoon's The Deep Dark Woods'
Winter Hours took home the award for ensemble of the year, while Toronto's The Good Lovelies were named the new emerging artist of the year. Slide guitarist Steve Dawson's
Telescope won the pushing the boundaries award.
