Bucky Awards Short List Revealed

Metric, Dan Mangan, Joel Plaskett, Hey Rosetta! and Coeur De Pirate lead the list of nominees for this year's CBC Radio 3 Bucky Awards.

The long list, which was announced earlier this month, has been reduced (via online voting) to five nominees per category. CBC Radio 3 users can vote now at the station's website from now until Nov. 29 at midnight.

CBC Radio 3's Grant Lawrence will announce the winners on Dec. 9 in a special live broadcast on the Grant Lawrence Live program. He'll also reveal this year's Lifetime Achievement award recipient and who garnered the Fan Of The Year prize.

Last year's Bucky Awards winners included Chad VanGaalen, Holy Fuck, Plants And Animals, Library Voices and Mother Mother.
