Liam Gallagher's New Band Is Oasish

Liam Gallagher has moved on from his days as Oasis frontman.

He's put them so far behind him, in fact, that he says he's started a new band... with everyone from Oasis. Except for Noel Gallagher, that is. We're hoping the new band is called "Oasish."

Gallagher recently told an Italian radio station he'd formed (is that really the right word?) an as-yet-untitled band with Oasis guitarist/keyboardist/bassist Colin "Gem" Archer, bassist/keyboardist/guitarist Andy Bell and drummer Chris Sharrock.

"We're sort of doing things at the moment," Gallagher told the station, according to Reuters. "Not Oasis, Oasis is done. Everyone except for Noel."

What, pray tell, does "sort of doing things" mean? Sort of picking up a guitar? How do you sort of write music?

Noel Gallagher left Oasis at the end of August after a blowup with Liam Gallagher before a show in Paris, France. He says he plans to start a solo career.
