Tune-Yards Launches 4AD Sessions

Experimental singer/songwriter Tune-Yards has recorded the first installment of the 4AD Sessions, a new series that's being put together by her label, 4AD.

The singer whose real name is Merrill Garbus recorded five songs for her 4AD Session, which can be seen below. She performed the tunes with Nate Brenner. The series sees the label's artists perform back catalogue material and alternate versions of their songs.

Tune-Yards will release her Bird-Brains debut album on Tuesday (Nov. 17) through 4AD in North America. It was released in the U.K. earlier this year.
