Dashboard Confessional, New Found Glory Tour Back On... Sort Of

Stop crying, emo kid. All is right again in your sadiverse.
Earlier this month, Dashboard Confessional announced that their fall tour with New Found Glory would be postponed due to "family issues."
In a blog post on the band's MySpace on Tuesday (Nov. 10), frontman Chris Carrabba announced that the tour in support of the recently released Alter The Ending would go on with some alterations.
"On November 30th, John and I will grab our guitars and hit the road. Our friends in New Found Glory will be coming with us and they'll leave the electric instruments at home. That's right... NFG acoustic," Carrabba wrote.
Although the tour will not be as expansive as originally planned, the band will play select dates in the U.S. There's no word yet whether the band will plan another tour in the new year.
Alter The Ending is Dashboard Confessional's sixth studio album, and has been in the works since 2007. It's available as a single CD, or deluxe two-CD edition including a bonus acoustic disc of the album.
