Sloan Planning Bonus Tracks, EP In New Digital Store

Sloan will release bonus tracks from their previous albums as part of their upcoming new digital store launch.
No details have been announced, but a tweet earlier today spilled the beans.
"Bonus tracks w/ all albums in catalog, DigiBooklets & the NEW 'Hit & Run EP'..almost time 4 the new Web Store!!" the post, clearly written by bassist Chris Murphy, read. (It's since been removed.)
There was also no hint as to whether the bonus tracks would be available through iTunes. "You'll have to wait to find out," the tweet read.
It's not known if some of the bonus tracks are previously unreleased or were ones previously released on Japanese versions of some albums. For example, the album Action Pact had two bonus songs: "Will You Ever Love Me Again?" and "Step On It, Jean" while 1994's Twice Removed effort had "D Is For Driver." Navy Blues, Between The Bridges, Pretty Together and One Chord To Another each had two Japanese bonus tracks.
Meanwhile, the EP, titled Hit & Run, is perhaps a reference to what happened to Murphy earlier this year when he was the victim of a hit and run. Murphy sustained a broken collarbone, cuts and bruises which resulted in the band canceling some gigs.
Sloan gave fans a preview of the EP by posting a free download of one of the song "Take It Upon Yourself" earlier this year.
The band have a string of U.S. shows coming up before they head to western Canada for a handful of gigs. More Canadian shows are expected in 2010, but for now they seem to be working on new material.
"Recording another hardcore song today," the band tweeted this afternoon. "What on Earth for?!"
