Crash Karma Opening For Stone Temple Pilots

Crash Karma — the Can-rock supergroup that includes former I Mother Earth singer Edwin, ex-Our Lady Peace guitarist Mike Turner, former Zygote member Amir Epstein and former Tea Party drummer Jeff Burrows — will open for Stone Temple Pilots at two of their upcoming Canadian shows.
The band will perform before STP on Nov. 17 at Toronto's Kool Haus and Nov. 21 at K-Rock Arena in Kingston, Ont. They'll presumably play tunes from their upcoming debut album.
The self-titled disc, which was recorded at Toronto's Pocket Studios and produced by Turner, doesn't have a release date yet, but its first single, "Awake," can be heard on the radio now.
The Crash Karma/Stone Temple Pilots connection goes back to Edwin's days in I Mother Earth. Stone Temple Pilots were using the same studio to record 1992's Core when I Mother Earth were cutting what would become 1993's Dig, and the two bands befriended each other.
