54-40, Sam Roberts, Wintersleep Playing Free Olympics Shows In Surrey, B.C.

There are already a host of free shows going on in Vancouver and Whistler, B.C. in conjunction with the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. But if you aren't in either city and are closer to Surrey, B.C., you can also catch some free gigs.
54-40, Sam Roberts Band, Randy Bachman, Wintersleep, Hot Hot Heat, Tokyo Police Club, Hey Rosetta!, Serena Ryder and Jully Black are among those who will stage free concerts at Surrey's Holland Park celebration site.
The shows will be held over 13 days during the games, and the site will also feature video screens broadcasting various Olympic events, an outdoor skating rink, food vendors and performances from the RCMP Musical Ride, according to the Vancouver Sun.
The Sam Roberts Band, Black and others will also be on hand for free shows at Whistler Village, which will be held during the Olympics and Paralympic Games. The Sam Roberts Band, Alexisonfire, Blue Rodeo, Wilco and Black will also perform free concerts in Vancouver during the Games.
