Neil Young will be reissuing his remastered first four albums in a set dubbed Official Release Series Discs 1-4 on Nov. 24.
The albums will be released on Reprise Records and are the remastered versions of his first four solo albums, Neil Young (originally released in 1969, reissued with original art and cover), Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere (1969, with Crazy Horse), After The Gold Rush (1970), and Harvest (1972).
The albums will be released as a limited edition box set housed in a slip case, with only 2,500 being sold worldwide. The set will also be available as a 180-gram limited edition numbered vinyl box set; each vinyl will be individually numbered in gold foil stamp, and will be limited to 3,000 sets worldwide.
You can purchase the box sets on Young's website or Because Sound Matters. Regular issues of the albums will be available in stores on Nov. 24.
Neil Young is also scheduled to continue his pet project of releasing live recordings from his archives. On Dec. 8, he will release the CD version of Dreamin' Man Live '92 (the vinyl version will follow on Jan. 12). The album will include acoustic versions of every song on Harvest Moon.
