Morrissey may have once ranted against old rockers like The Rolling Stones in "Get Off The Stage," but he literally left the stage Saturday night after someone threw a drink at his head.
Moz, who recently collapsed on stage and was forced to cancel some dates on his current British tour, abandoned a gig at Liverpool, England's Echo Arena on Saturday night after someone tossed their drink at him and it hit his head.
Morrissey, who had just finished opening with "This Charming Man" and was in the middle of "Black Cloud," immediately stopped singing, simply said, "Goodnight" and left the stage, according to BBC News.
The crowd weren't happy and tried to get Morrissey to come back on stage by chanting his name, but he wasn't having it and a representative for the venue announced Morrissey would not continue the show. Fans will be given a full refund, but what do you want to bet the drink thrower was given a prompt beat-down?
Earlier this year, Morrissey walked off stage at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival after smelling meat.
