Alkaline Trio Frontman Releasing Solo Album

Alkaline Trio singer/guitarist Matt Skiba's debut solo album, Demos, is due out Feb. 16 through Asian Man Records.
Skiba first revealed he was working on a solo album in August. No tracklisting has been revealed yet for the 15-track Demos, which was recorded over 10 months in various locations.
"Whether in his bedroom or while traveling, Matt recorded these songs originally as demos, but the songs are perfect as is. We couldn't ask for more," Asian Man label owner Mike Park says, according to altpress.com. "Anybody who loves the Alkaline Trio without the glossed over production will be incredibly happy with this final product."
Demos will be released on coloured vinyl as well as CD, and you'll be able to pre-order it in December.
Skiba released a split EP with Kevin Seconds in 2002.
Skiba isn't the only Alkaline Trio member to go solo or embark on a new project lately. Bassist Dan Adriano recently launched a solo side project dubbed The Emergency Room.
