Feist will help a Toronto Holt Renfrew store unveil its holiday window display when she makes a last-minute performance there on Thursday (Nov. 5) evening.
The singer/songwriter will be on hand at the 50 Bloor St. W. location, where the store's massive holiday window display will be revealed and will begin performing at 7 p.m. The show is free, and Feist is pinch-hitting for Kristen Chenoweth, who cancelled her appearance on Wednesday (Nov. 4). The store will remain open until 9 p.m. after the gig.
Feist hasn't performed live very much this year. She's done on-stage appearances with Broken Social Scene at their show at Toronto's Harbourfront Centre this summer, and has also shown up on stage at Grizzly Bear and Wilco gigs. Aside from that, she's largely been taking some time off.
You can see Feist play a free outdoor show at the Whistler Celebration Plaza in Whistler, B.C. on Feb. 16 and at Vancouver's Orpheum Theatre the next day.
