Weird Al To Join Pixies At Benefit Show

In what's obviously a nerdy person's dream, Weird Al Yankovic will sing the Pixies' "I Bleed" with the Boston band at a benefit show in Los Angeles next month.
Yankovic will appear with the band at the Dec. 8 show in support of Winston's Village at the Echoplex. It's part of a two-night event that's intended to raise funds for the organization, which supports the family of Winston Bertrand. He's a nine-month-old baby with lymphatic and venous malformations.
The benefits will be hosted by Pixies frontman Black Francis, who'll also perform solo. Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea will reportedly fill in for Kim Deal on bass.
Grand Duchy, Black's side project with his wife, Violet Clark, will also perform. Members of Love And Rockets and She Wants Revenge will also be on hand on Dec. 8. The following night will feature comedy from The Sarah Silverman Program's Brian Posehn, Pixies drummer David Lovering, Bob Odenkirk and Tim And Eric.
