Montreal duo Hexes & Ohs will release SHARE, a remix EP on the newly created Montreal web label Lazy At Work and on iTunes Nov. 16.
Until then, the EP will be available for free/pay what you can on the band's bandcamp page.
The mini-album features collaborations between Hexes & Ohs and seven of their favourite artists. Unlike most remix albums, SHARE isn't just a celebration of Hexes & Ohs songs; they've also remixed some of their friends for the album.
SHARE contains remixed tracks by Montag, Vitaminsforyou, DT666 (a.k.a. Sloan's Patrick Pentland) and OPOPO, as well as remixes of songs from Sloan, The Bicycles and Camaromance.
You can catch Hexes & Ohs on Nov. 6 as part of KOSMIC 2010 at Ottawa's Carleton University.
Here are the songs on SHARE:
"Little Bird" (Vitaminsforyou piano remix)
"Believe In Me" by Sloan (Hexes & Ohs remix)
"Wildfire!" (OPOPO remix)
"H-H-Highschool" (DT666 Remix)
"What Happens Next?" by Camaromance (Hexes & Ohs remix)
"Little Bird" (Montag remix)
"What A Fool" by The Bicycles (Hexes & Ohs remix)
"H-H-Highschool" (hip-hop mix)
