By now you may have heard about the four teenagers who got in trouble with police after rapping their order at the drive through of a Utah McDonald's franchise last week.

According to the Associated Press, the teens pulled up and began saying what they wanted in rap form, and say they were imitating a popular YouTube video where the same thing happens. But they were told they were holding up the line and needed to leave.

Spenser Dauwalder, one of the teenagers, told the Associated Press he said no one was in line behind them.

After the teens left, American Fork Police Sgt. Gregg Ludlow told the Associated Press the store manager wrote down the car's license plate and called police, who later cited the four teenagers for disorderly conduct because they "continued to hold things up."

The owner of the franchise later said in a statement the police were called because the employee was afraid for her safety.

"The employee in question felt that her safety was at risk as a result of the alleged actions of these individuals in the drive-thru, not as a result of them rapping their order," the owner, Conny Kramer, said in a statement.

The teens say they plan to fight the citation.

Here's a Fox News story about the incident:
