Can a "supergroup" truly be a supergroup if the members of said supergroup are from groups that, well, aren't incredibly super?
Well, the members of 3 Doors Down, Muzik Mafia and Kid Rock's band have joined forces to form 7DayBinge, making it the 1,265th "supergroup" to form this decade. In fact, the group will be releasing their self-titled debut album digitally on Dec. 8 with a physical release set for Jan. 26 through Rock Ridge Music.
The band — consisting of 3 Doors Down bassist Todd Harrell, Muzik Mafia guitarist/singer Jon Nicholson and Kid Rock guitarist Kenny Olson and drummer Shannon Boone — recorded the album over several days in Nashville's Sound Kitchen and
self-produced the eight-track album.
You can hear "End Of The Road" and "Cold Dark Grave" on the band's MySpace page has "End Of The Road" and "Cold Dark Grave" available for listening.
"I'm really excited about the Binge album coming out," Harrell says. "It's been a lot of fun working with these guys and watching it all come together. The energy is awesome and I can't wait for our fans to hear it. They won't be disappointed."
7DayBinge are expected to tour behind the album but no dates have been confirmed yet.
Here is the track list for 7DayBinge:
"7DayBinge"
"Oak Tree"
"End Of The Road"
"Free"
"I'm No Good"
