Oshawa, Ont. band The Micronite Filters will release Puff Go The Dragon's Mystic Fires, their fourth album in four years, on Nov. 13 through their own indie label, Get Bent Records.
The album will be available through the label's website and at the band's CD release show at Oshawa's Green Bottle on Nov. 13. The band will be supported by Bootleg Glory, The Polymorphines and The Recroom at the gig.
The first single off the album is "In Search Of Delights," which is currently available for download on the band's site alongside a reworking of the song "Let's Get Drunk." The band have said the album will contain "some serious riffage."
The group, who released their last album Rocket From Infinity in 2008, have a handful of shows coming up in November and early December around Ontario, including a gig at Toronto's Silver Dollar on Nov. 7.
