Austin, Texas indie rockers
Spoon will release their seventh studio album,
Transference, on Jan. 26 through Merge.
The 11-track follow-up to 2007's
Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga was produced by the band, who finished recording it just before they played the Austin City Limits Music Festival earlier this month.
You'll probably be able to hear singer/guitarist Britt Daniel, Jim Eno, Eric Harvey and Rob Pope play songs from
Transference on New Year's Eve, when they perform with Jay Reatard at Milwaukee's Riverside Theater.
Here are the songs on
Transference:
"Before Destruction"
"Is Love Forever?"
"The Mystery Zone"
"Who Makes Your Money"
"Written In Reverse"
"I Saw The Light"
"Trouble Comes Running"
"Goodnight Laura"
"Out Go The Lights"
"Got Nuffin"
"Nobody Gets Me But You"
