Foo Fighters Doing Facebook Halloween Concert

It seems Timber Timbre isn't the only one giving out Halloween treats online this year.
The Foo Fighters will also jump in on the festivities, as they're set to play a special performance at 2 a.m. (GMT) on Halloween from the Studio 606 complex in California.
Want to get tickets? If you're reading this, you already have them. The gig is going to be performed live via the band's Facebook page.
So what's up with all these Internet freebies lately? I'm betting it's because the Internet turned 40 today.
Earlier this month, Weezer premiered their new Raditude album online, and in another doubtful-it's-a-coincidence-moment, Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl and his supergroup Them Crooked Vultures released their new single via Facebook earlier this week.
In other Foo Fighters-related news, the band are scheduled to release their Greatest Hits collection Nov. 3.
