If you're really bored and in a serious need for some laughs, you can
watch the recent
Gothageddon dolls battle, which pitted puppets representing Billy Corgan and Robert Smith against each other, online.
Corgan's doll and his puppet pals "wrestled" Smith, Amanda Palmer and Bauhaus' Peter Murphy in a tag-team match, but were met by a surprise in the ring: James Iha! (Actually, it's not Iha, but someone else disguised as Iha.)
There's an extra hilarious moment when Smith is forced to contend with a gigantic spider that's straight out of "Lullaby." Apparently it didn't get the memo about it being "just a song."
The entire match is narrated by a teddy bear and refereed by a koala, and we think Corgan's doing the voices for the whole thing. We have to say, this kind of nerd-dom is impressive and we didn't think Corgan had it in him.
He doesn't think
swine flu's very funny, though.
