Soccer moms, start saving: Lilith Fair will make its return to at least 18 cities in North America and Europe next year.
The first round of cities that will get a Lilith Fair show was posted on the festival's website on Wednesday. They include Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary, New York, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles and London, England among others.
"I can't reveal anything further now," Lilith Fair co-founder and Nettwerk Records CEO Terry McBride says, "but I can assure fans that we have some exciting announcements over the course of the following weeks, from confirmed artists to additional cities to innovative social initiatives. Lilith 2010 is very much upon us."
Billboard.com previously reported Lilith Fair will embark on a "two-week tour in Britain and Europe" sometime next year, but nothing's been confirmed, other than the intent to stage the festival in London.
Lilith Fair 2010 will be the first edition of the festival since 1999. The female-only festival was first held in 1997 and was founded by McBride and Sarah McLachlan. It was intended to showcase female musicians and raised over $10 million for women's charities in North America.
Artists like McLachlan, Sheryl Crow, Tegan And Sara, Dixie Chicks and Erykah Badu have played at previous installments of Lilith Fair.
