This week's campus charts are a tale of two divergent trends.

While the top two albums from last week remain locked in those same positions, there was a fair amount of discombobulation among the lower 48.

The other interesting observation this week was the total dominance of Canadian artists on the chart. With our Canadian content requirements, this ain't that peculiar, but for the first time in this chart compiler's memory the top 10 was completely filled with Canadian albums. The highest non-Canuck CD is Vic Chesnutt's At The Cut at #12.

The campus chart is once again featuring a two exclamation point act at #1 as You Say Party! We Say Die!'s XXXX remains at #1 followed by Islands' Vapours holding steady at #2. Both of these releases debuted the same week and have each held the top spot on the chart.

Do Make Say Think's Other Truths rose 16 places to land at #3, one of three top 10 albums parachuting from far off places on the chart. DMST's sudden rise pushes The Hidden Cameras' Origin:Orphan down a spot to #4, while Cuff The Duke's Way Down Here moves up three places to #5.

We Are Wolves' Invisible Violence blasts into the top elite this week, rising 26 places to grab the #6 position. Two Hours Traffic's Territory moves a moderate two positions to #7, followed by two new entries.

Parlour Steps' The Hidden Names sticks at #8, winning the battle for the Chart Sizzler over Dragonette's Fixin To Thrill debuting at #9. Said The Whale's Islands Disappear outdoes all other contenders, rocketing 39 spots to nail it at #10 this week.

There were 17 new entries in total on this week's campus chart including the two aforementioned elite debuts, an above average total. Black Feelings' self-titled album arrives at #15, followed by Carolyn Mark and NQ Arbuckle's new collaboration, Let's Just Stay Here, which enters at #19.

Atlas Sound's Logos debuts at #23 and I Told You I Was Freaky, the  sophomore release from those crazy Kiwis, Flight Of The Conchords, falls in right behind Logos at #24.

Other notable new entries include The Wheat Pool's Hauntario at #29, The XX's eponymous release at #30, Volcano Choir's Unmap at #44 and two #1 albums on the specialty charts this week. Tony Wilson Sextet's The People Look Like Flowers At Last, which debuts at #40, and Baaba Maal's Television arriving at #50.

Speaking of the specialty charts, outside of the #1 debut of Tony Wilson Sextet's The People Look Like Flowers At Last on the Jazz/Blues top 10 and the #1 hold by Baaba Maal's Television on the World/Folk chart, there were actually three new #1s on the other genre-specific lists.

Antipop Consortium's Fluorescent Black tops the Hip Hop chart. After a couple of weeks at #2, Megadeth's Endgame finally makes the move, rising to #1 on the Metal/Punk chart.

There was some significant movement on the Electronic chart. First, Boys Noize's Power moves three places to grab the top position, while the lower half of the list features new three entries, Zero 7's Yeah Ghost at #6, Air's Love 2 at #7 and the self-titled release by La Roux arriving at #8.
