Spirits Opening For Parlotones In South Africa

Spirits have so far spent 2009 releasing their self-titled debut album and playing shows with Pixies, Happy Mondays and The Psychedelic Furs. Now they're set to play some shows in South Africa.
The band will open for South Africa's Parlotones and will play two gigs in Cape Town and Johannesburg in front of crowds of 10,000 and 19,000 people, respectively.
Spirits, which consists of multi-instrumentalists Ian Smith and Brad Germain and drummer Nick Skalkos are expected to announce more dates shortly. For now, they have these dates lined up:
Oct. 31 Hamilton, ON @ Club Absinthe
Nov. 13 Cape Town, South Africa @ Grand West Arena w/ The Parlotones
Nov. 14 Johannesburg, South Africa @ Coca-Cola Dome w/ The Parlotones
